REDUCING PEAK ELECTRICITY DEMAND

Category
Project

This project involved advising the NSW government different electricity demand management policy options to reduce peak electricity demand. The main focus of the engagement was on appliance demand response and battery storage incentives and involved modelling the costs and benefits of preferred options. Salim Mazouz (Principal) jointly led the program design and cost benefit analysis of this NSW government’s proposed action to jump start the demand management market in NSW in the draft Climate Change Fund Strategic Plan Demand Management.
